Teaching First-Aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and everything safety related has resulted in many life changing experiences for Christian. He has become a passionate believer in the power of learning and is motivated to help others to learn how to help in the event of an emergency. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Justice and Law Enforcement and a major in sociology in 5 ½ years.

From 2000 to 2009, he has been a volunteer fire fighter south of Winnipeg for the Municipality of Ritchot Fire Department (The area covers St.-Adolphe, Ste.-Agathe, Ile-des-Chênes, and Grande-Pointe). Through his time there, Christian has attained his Level I fire fighter status, Hazardous Material Awareness, Automobile-Extrication as well as his Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) certificates through the Brandon Emergency Services College.

Prior to starting his company (CANADIAN FIRST-AID TRAINING Ltd.), he was a Certified St.-John Ambulance instructor for over 3 ½ years. He was the full time bilingual Instructor / Monitor, which allowed him to certify and recertify first-aid instructors in Emergency & Standard first aid as well as all the CPR levels including the Child Service Provider Courses used for day cares and parents.

Christian is now a certified, accredited and insured First-Aid Instructor Trainer (FAIT) through the CANADIAN RED CROSS and has acquired his Authorized Training Partner (AP) and Delivery Partner (DP) status which helps him to deliver all of their different programming. Christian is certified to teach others in how to teach all the Canadian Red Cross levels of first-aid, CPR as well as the Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and Child Care First-Aid courses.

Also, Christian has attained his Instructor Trainer (IT) status with the HEART & STROKE FOUNDATION OF MANITOBA which allows him to teach others how to effectively deliver the Heartsaver & BLS for HCP courses offered by the HSFM.
He has taught out-of-town first-aid and CPR courses on First Nation reservations throughout Manitoba and Nunavut. 

Lastly, Christian has attained his Authorized Stocking Distributor status to sell and maintain the Philips Health Care Canada® HeartStart line of defibrillators.
